Easy Crumbed Chicken Drumsticks 2

This recipe was one of my favourites when I was growing up and it comes from Mum’s Recipe Book. It is easy, tasty and is a great dish to make when you have to feed a crowd. I used to make it for church lunches and it was always popular with the kids!

What you will need:

Chicken drumsticks – I usually make a large pan of these so I use about 15 drumsticks

A bottle of Italian Dressing ( low fat dressing can be used)

1-2 cups fine fresh bread crumbs ( I make mine in the Thermomix – blitz the bread for about 5 seconds)

Oil to grease the pan

Method:

Pour the Italian dressing over the chicken and leave to marinate for 1- 2 hours.

Crumb the marinated drumsticks and place in the greased oven dish.

Bake in the oven at 190 C for about an hour.

Serve hot or cold with a tossed salad.

Enjoy!
