Gather your ingredients ready to get cooking!
Make sure your Thermomix is turned on and ready to go.
Peel the onion and garlic. Remove the stalks from the chilli. Chop any green vegetables.
Add the onion, garlic, chilli and green vegies to the bowl.
Insert the measuring cup into the lid and chop the ingredients 3 sec/speed 7.
Weigh in 20g olive oil and sauté 3.5 minutes/120°C/speed 1.
Add the passata + 300g water to the bowl.
Place the simmering basket into the bowl and add the mince to the basket.
Place the lid + measuring cup on top of the bowl. Cook 10 minutes/100°C/speed 2.5.
Remove the lid and stir the mince in the basket using the spatula.
Place the lid + measuring cup on top of the bowl. Cook 10 minutes/100°C/speed 2.5.
While the mince is cooking open the tin of kidney beans and rinse well.
After the second 10 minute cooking time remove the lid and the basket. Transfer the mince into the bowl and add in the kidney beans.
Mix the ingredients 1 minute/speed 2 with reverse enabled.
Pour the chilli into a serving dish and garnish as required. Serve hot with boiled rice.
