There are so many commercial creams and treatments for skin repair. Sometimes we just need some moisture to repair dry skin, but sometimes we need a little more help. For example, have you cut your finger lately or grazed your shin? We need help with healing in these instances as well as some moisture. There are some amazing Essential Oils that will help soothe the hurt and help with repair. Some are very expensive but some are the types of oils that we use everyday for lots of reasons and they don’t necessarily have to break the bank!

How I use these oils for minor skin repair
I keep a Roller Ball Bottle handy at all times with a blend of some of these oils. Which oils do I use? Whichever I have available. However, I always include Lavender and Tea Tree. Together they are very soothing!
I dilute about 10-20 drops of Lavender Oil and 10-20 drops of the other oils as available with Fractionated Coconut Oil in the bottle and roll it on any little cuts or grazes that I might have. This mix can also be placed in a small spray bottle and lightly sprayed on the cuts etc. If you want to keep it really simple just drop some of the Essential Oil onto your palm along with a few drops of Fractionated Essential Oils or some hand cream and rub over the affected skin.
More Expensive Essential Oils
The more expensive oils for skin repair are Helichrysum, Frankincense and Roman Chamomile. These can be used in creams and serums. doTERRA make a wonderful ointment that be used topically to help repair skin. It contains some of these oils.
