5 Tips for DIY Bathroom Cleaning 6

This recipe is based on a doTERRA recipe. I have old bathrooms to clean and old tiles and grout so I am always struggling with mould. This cleaner is helpful to clean off the mould from the grout. I use an old toothbrush to do the scrubbing. Be careful though, hydrogen peroxide is powerful so don’t get it on your clothes. I use Clove Essential Oil to help prevent mould growth.

You Will Need:

1/2 cup of hot water

1 tablespoon of Liquid Castile Soap

1/4 cup White Vinegar

1/4 cup of Hydrogen Peroxide

10 drops Tea Tree (Melaleuca) Oil

10 drops Eucalyptus Oil

15 drops Clove oil

(I use doTERRA oils)

Method:

Stir hot water and Castile Soap altogether and add Vinegar, Hydrogen Peroxide and Essential Oils.

Transfer to a spray bottle.

To use, spray on the shower or tile surface. Leave for 10 minutes.

Wipe clean. Scrubbing the surface will help remove stubborn stains or mould.
