What oil should I use for Personal Hygiene and Beauty? 4

This is one of the simplest recipes you will ever use!  It is based on Epsom Salts- that’s right, your grandma probably used it didn’t she? Epsom Salts is magnesium sulfate and magnesium is known to reduce muscle soreness and help avoid muscle cramping. The great news is that you can buy these Salts from the supermarket or from a Chemist/Pharmacist. These scented bath salts also make a wonderful gift e.g. for Christmas. Homemade Christmas gifts are the best!

You will need:

Homemade Christmas Gifts: Scented Bath Salts

1 kg box of Epsom Salts

Dried lavender heads or Dried Rose Petals (Optional) ( A blender to break up the Lavender into small pieces.)

20-30 drops of Essential Oil (the possible combinations are endless but you might like to try Lavender, Clary Sage and Frankincense – particularly for Christmas!)

An large airtight glass jar or two medium size jars. Or, for Christmas, you can fill a Christmas bauble as a gift.

A large bowl to mix it all together.

Method:

Blend the lavender if you are using dried heads. Mix the Epsom Salts and the lavender or Rose Petals together in a large bowl.
