I have to thank my son for this recipe. We went to visit him at the end of 2018 and we cooked pizzas on his BBQ for dinner on Saturday night. Sitting outside around the BBQ, eating freshly cooked pizza and drinking South Australian wine – it doesn’t get much better than that!

What you will need:

1 x fresh Cheese and Tomato Pizza from your Supermarket

Extra Grated Cheese

Gourmet toppings such as Eggplant, Artichokes, Sundried Tomatoes, Kalamata Olives, Ham, Chicken, Rocket, Anchovies…….

A BBQ

A pizza stone

Method:

Place the pizza stone on the BBQ.

Heat the BBQ to 180 C.

Remove the pizza from its wrapping.

Place on a round of baking paper (cut the paper to fit on the stone).

Arrange the toppings on the pizza.

Cook for approximately 18-20 minutes on the hot stone in the BBQ, with the BBQ lid closed.

Check that the pizza is not burning.

It is cooked when the cheese is melted.

Enjoy!
