Does anyone in your house have stinky feet? Are you prone to fungal infections on the soles of the feet? It’s OK, you can be honest! The problem is – what can you do about it? I have tried a wide range of foot powders and sprays over the years and they always leave my shoes smelling worse. So one of the first DIY with Essential Oil recipes I searched for was for a spray for stinky feet. I have tried a few different blends but am happy with this one below. I buy cheap Vodka for use in this recipe.

Foot Spray for Stinky Feet1

What you will need:

100 ml of witch hazel
50 ml rubbing alcohol or vodka

20 drops each of the following Essential Oils:

Grapefruit oil

Peppermint essential Oil

Tea tree essential Oil

Geranium essential Oil

Lavender essential Oil

Lemongrass Oil

10 drops of Rosemary essential Oil

250 ml spray bottle

Method:

Add all ingredients into a small jug, and mix well.

Pour into the spray bottle.

Use:

Shake the bottle well before use. Spray onto the soles of the feet and inside shoes. The mixture will evaporate quickly from your skin. It will remain damp for a while in your shoes. Leave to dry overnight.

This mixture should help to improve the odour of feet and shoes and may help fight fungus growth on your skin. Your bedroom will also smell great after you have sprayed your shoes!
