We all need to freshen the air in our homes from time to time. Whilst diffusing is a great way to fill your home with wonderful Essential Oils, there are some jobs that require a more targeted approach. For example, you may need to freshen up the bathroom or a smelly garbage bin. It is very easy to make your own DIY Air Freshener without all the unnecessary extra chemicals.
This Room Spray recipe is quick and easy to make and very versatile. I have a a spray in each bathroom and mix up the oils to vary the aroma!
What you will need:
30 ml Rubbing alcohol or Vodka
90 ml cooled, boiled water
10 drops Lemongrass Oil (experiment with the oils as much as you like e.g. the protective Oil blend and Lavender Oil mix well, Spearmint Oil is great as is Peppermint Oil!)
200 ml spray bottle
Method:
Mix all ingredients in a measuring cup and pour into the spray bottle.
Use:
Shake well before use.
Spray in the bathroom, toilet, garbage bins etc. If you use Lemongrass Oil it cleans as well as freshens the surfaces you spray.
