I love cooking with yeast and I am excited that I can now combine this love with my new found interest in Cooking with Oils!! I often make this recipe to accompany soup or a casserole. With the addition of a drop of Rosemary Oil to the topping the pizza is popping with flavour!

What you will need:

Dough:

2 teaspoons of dry yeast

280 g luke warm water

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons olive oil

500 g bread flour

Topping:

3-4 sprigs of rosemary

2 cloves of garlic, crushed

1 drop of Rosemary Essential Oil

2 extra tablespoons of olive oil

Method:

Add the yeast to the lukewarm water and mix lightly. Leave for 1 minute.

Add the flour to a large bowl and add the salt and the oil. Mix in the yeast+water until you have formed a dough.

Knead the dough on a floured board for about 5-10 minutes. The dough should feel elastic.

Place the dough into an oiled bowl and cover.

Leave to rise for half an hour or until double in size.

Punch down the dough, divide into two pieces and roll it or spread it over the surface of two pizza trays.

Mix together the extra oil, chopped rosemary, crushed garlic and Rosemary Oil.

Spread the mixture evenly over the surface of the pizzas.

Cook at 200 C for approximately 12 minutes.
